Quarantine Diaries 2
I am 3/4 of the way to freedom! To be honest, being locked in a hotel room hasn't been as horrible as I anticipated. And I must again stress that a big part of that has been the ability to open my balcony door and breathe in fresh air!
I have definitely tried to stick to a little bit of a routine and have been surprisingly busy with a few things going on, so the days have recently been flying by. I have also been absolutely spoilt with flowers, snacks, surprises, phone calls and FaceTimes that have boosted my spirits and made me feel supported the whole time!
I filmed a 'Day in the Life' in hotel quarantine today, so you can check that out here:
A couple of things i have learnt over the past 10/11 days:
You need to get comfortable being on your own and with your own thoughts. This is important for everybody. At the end of the day, you will always have yourself, so if you are someone who does love to constantly be surrounded by people, I encourage you to take some time to do things on your own too, and get comfortable flying solo!
Work hard to develop a strong network of friends around you who will be there for you when times are a little tough. I have been overwhelmed with the support I have received in here, and I really am grateful for the amazing people who have been in my life for a very long time. There is nothing more rewarding to me than loyal friendship, and feeling the love and support of my circle during this time has kept a huge smile on my face.
Never take fresh, home cooked meals for granted. TRUST ME!!
Hope you are all well and thanks for tuning in.
Til next week, Belle
